Cruise Deals

A cruise vacation is a modern and convenient way to travel around the world in comfort and getting away from everyday worries. State of the art cruise liners offer excellent service, 24/7 food options and on-board cabin accommodation that is not inferior to a room in the best hotels. By booking a cruise journey, you will get an unforgettable experience which includes trips to several cities in various countries at the price of a regular land tour. It is simple, reliable and safe – you unpack your suitcase on the first day and then enjoy a real sea adventure.

Are you looking for the best deals on sea cruises? The more affordable deals are offered by such companies as Costa Cruises, Royal Caribbean and MSC Cruises. The more sophisticated bookings can be obtained from Azamara Club Cruises, Oceania Cruises and Silversea Cruises. The most popular cruise destinations include Mediterranean region, Northern Europe, Asia and the Caribbean. Last but not least, do not forget the most attractive cruise deals which can be often secured for cruise liners from Rome, Miami, Barcelona, Singapore, Venice, Amsterdam and Shanghai.

What is the best time to get a deal on a cruise?

One of the best times to book a cruise deal is during a school season. Cruising is considered by many a popular type of family vacation and a lot of people tend to travel with children. In this regard, during the school season, the demand for cruise deals is significantly reduced. Throughout the school season there is a higher chance to find bargain cruise deals and save money.

However, in general, there are three main strategies when it comes to cruise deal hunting:

  • Book in advance – book winter season cruise destinations in summer, and vice versa for summer time trips. Usually early bookings are lower in price.
  • Wait for promotions or discounts – it is always a good idea to constantly monitor prices online. Promotions can include, but not limited to, an upgrade of your cabin class, free on-board drink package, additional funds on your cruise account, etc.
  • Book at the last moment – there are often last-minute offers on cruise deals available.

How far in advance should I book a cruise for the best price?

Tourists know that the sooner you start booking your vacation, the cheaper it will cost. However, this is not the case with cruise deals. The best time to book a sea cruise is two months before departure and less. So, what are the reasons behind it?
When you book a cruise in advance, you are not required to pay the full amount immediately. Typically, a cruise company only deducts a deposit, and oftentimes it is fully refundable. If the cruise deal suddenly becomes significantly cheaper, it is always possible to rebook the cruise again for the new price. In the worst-case scenario, you lose the deposit, and in the best case, you get the cheapest deal.
For this reason, cruise companies try to keep prices more or less unchanged. But more often than not, two to three months before departure, it is not possible to cancel a cruise booking without a fine. That’s when the bargain deals become available. After all, those who booked in advance will not cancel their bookings and remaining cabins will become available at cheaper booking fees. Usually, the closer the departure date, the better are cruise deals.
Of course, there are exceptions here, too. Sometimes, cruise companies predict in advance that the demand for the cruise destination might be low. In these cases, special deals are on offer a year or more in advance before departure date. However, do not expect such deals for destinations like the Mediterranean Sea or the Norwegian fjords.
